My work is inspired by Lisa Kokin by the way she has used overlapping images in a hollow object to give a layered effect. It seems very simple and easy to do. It stands out (Literally) from her other work to me as the way you look thought a screen into a different work in a sense. She sews her pictures onto pieces of wooden rods to help them stand vertically upwards. She has also used fabric to line her box to give it warmth and patterned texture.

My work involves using lots of different coloured plastic all layered up to make a cilindered object with all the colours spiralling down so when you look inside you see all of the colours shining through up and out.
